Method4 Awarded SharePoint 2010 Framework

Method4 wins a new three year SharePoint 2010 framework with the
Mid & West Wales Fire & Rescue Service.
After a competitive tender process, Mid & West Wales Fire
& Rescue Service engaged with Method4 to provide SharePoint
technical assistance and consultancy. It was the intention of the
Service to deploy Microsoft SharePoint 2010 in order to improve a
number of existing business processes and to deploy a new Content
Management Driven website.
As part of the contract Method4 provide the following
services:
- SharePoint System Architecture Design
- SharePoint Web Design
- Business Intelligence/Connectivity
- Exchange & Active Directory Integration
- SharePoint in a Bilingual Environment
- Information Management & Classification
- Ongoing Support/Systems Maintenance
- Training (user & administrator levels)
- 3rd Party Systems Integration
- Data Migration

The First Phase of delivery was a new website http://www.mawwfire.gov.uk .
The new site has a number of custom features including; dynamic
menu dropdowns, news carousels and article aggregation web
parts.
