Enabling joined up services

Method4 has recently completed another successful systems' implementation. The system provides a new joined-up service between the Local Government Data Unit - Wales and its data providers. Over 60 organisations will use the new system, including local authorities, registered social landlords and fire rescue services.

The system provides a secure data transfer and validation facility which is web-enabled, fully bilingual and incorporates virus scanning technology. The new system will greatly reduce the time it takes to receive and validate data and provides users with immediate feedback.

The new system was built on the DEWi Framework, developed by Method4 for the Welsh Assembly Government which recently reached the finals of the e-Government national awards.
