Celebrating a successful 2006

01 April 2007

Method4 have enjoyed a successful year having achieved some important milestones along the way. From the outset, there have been ambitious plans to build a company of technical excellence providing a high quality yet cost effective service. Using their wealth of experience in delivering innovative information management solutions, the company directors have worked hard to establish processes based on industry standards and best-practise. The company quality management system is central to these processes and has recently been accredited to ISO 9001:2000.

Products

Another aspect of ensuring the best service at the right price is the identification of recurring requirements across projects and developing mechanisms to deliver them more effectively. Method4 believe that it is important to run product development activities alongside its commercial operations. By reducing cost of sale, and providing tried-and-tested components, the benefit of a "write-once, use-many" approach is passed onto their clients.

One such example is Method4Collection. This product allows the creation of online multi-lingual forms and questionnaires with intuitive ease. Applications include online surveys, employee appraisals, asset management and inspection systems.

Growth

To enable the company to fully service its clients' requirements as well as continuing its ongoing development of products, Method4 has recruited high calibre staff during the year. Account Director Craig Hughes commented, "We now have a good compliment of PRINCE2 project managers, analysts and developers within our office at the heart of the Welsh capital." The company has plans to expand further in the new year.

e-Government Award Finalist

Using its own unique collaborative approach to projects, Method4 has had the opportunity to work with numerous clients during its first year including the Welsh Assembly Government. The Data Exchange Wales initiative (DEWi) allows the Welsh Assembly Government, LEAs and every school in Wales to exchange and validate statutory information over the internet.

After providing efficiency savings and positive user feedback DEWi has been named as a finalist for the national e-Government awards 2006. The winners will be announced at a black-tie ministerial dinner taking place at the Savoy in London in January 2007."
