Advising the WDA on innovative information solutions
27 March 2006
Method4 is currently undertaking business and systems analysis
for the Land Division of the Welsh Development Agency
(WDA).
The work involves a review of existing systems and investigating
future requirements. Recommendations will be made on how IT can be
used innovatively to bring improvements to the quality of
information and processes.
Under consideration will be how Geographical Information Systems
(GIS) could be linked to the data and be incorporated into
reporting, and how the Internet could provide external
organisations with links to the systems for reporting and data
entry.
Method4's findings and recommendations will allow the WDA to
make informed decisions on the way forward following their merger
with the Welsh Assembly Government in April.
